I haven't been to Kroger in a very long time because there isn't one very close to me, but someone gave me a gift card so I thought I'd check it out.
First of all, I'd like to report that Kroger has the best organic produce section of any regular grocery store in my area. The prices were great as was the quality and the selection.
Secondly, this week Oikos Organic Greek yogurt is on sale 10/$10 (but you don't have to buy 10, it rings up at $1 each). There is a coupon for $1/1 in 1/10 SS, which makes the yogurt free. But, even better, is when you buy one a catalina prints for $1/1! So, my first time through I didn't know this and got 4 with my coupons. The catalina printed so I ran back over to the natural foods section and grabbed another one. The total was $0.02 (for tax) and it printed another catalina! So, I got another one, $0.02 total, and it printed another one! Thankfully it was about 8:30am and the store wasn't busy at all. The cashier told me it was probably going to just keep printing them. So, I stopped after getting 6 and decided to leave some for the rest of you all! I came home with another catalina, but it doesn't expire till March 17, so I'll go back another time to use it.
Also, I have one of these catalinas for the same product from Harris Teeter (but didn't have it with me) and the cashier told me I can use that one at Kroger, too!
What a wonderful shopping trip! I will definitely be watching the Kroger ads more closely from now on.
Happy Saving!
